The Old Gods
Perhistoric gods from the Great Lake region of Meridia; found largly in literature and poems, often used to personify the Pillars of Creation.
Sulis
Sun goddess; associated with sight (truth), civic law, light. She sees all and knows all, acts as judge and is asked to dispense justice. Her symbol is an eye, all seeing.
Melora
She is the goddess of the harvest and agriculture, presiding over grains and the fertility of the earth; of the grape-harvest, winemaking and wine. She is known as The Hand That Feeds. Her symbol is a sickle.
Tureis
Goddess of magical restorative arts and herbal curatives; a snake charmer who specialized in the healing of snake bites (poisons). Her symbol is her snake, named Alasia, whose blood is known to be a panacea.
Venzen
The god of blacksmiths, metalworking, carpenters, craftsmen, artisans, sculptors, and metallurgy. He is the father of invention. He is known as the Eternal Hammerer. His symbol is an anvil.
Tshurdh
He is a storm god in who causes hailstorms and throws thunder and lightning. His breath is the wind. He travels using storm clouds and superstition states he can be turned away with noise and clashing steel, a technique often used by sailors.
Phraeda
The goddess of magic, witchcraft, and necromancy. She is the mother of alchemy. Renowned for her vast knowledge of potions and herbs which she would often use to transform her enemies, or those who offended her, into animals. Her symbol is a bowl, or cauldron.
Serapis
The god of the afterlife, the dead, fertility, resurrection, and life. He is the judge of the dead and the king of the underworld. He is known as He Who is Forever Young. His symbol is his sacred cow, named Alnath, who was sacrificed and reborn.
